FED:People expect us to get on pricing = 2

Mr Rann said under COAG rules SA premier-in-waiting Jay Weatherill was not allowed
to attend the meeting.

Mr Weatherill will take over the top job on October 20 after wrestling the party leadership
of Mr Rann in late July.

"The rules of COAG are that only the prime minister, premiers and chief ministers are
there," he told reporters in Canberra.

"As you remember when Peter Beattie was in the process of stepping down and mentoring
Anna Bligh, only Peter Beattie as premier could attend COAG.

"Those are the rules, I don't set the rules."
