A MOULD-mounted hot runner controller has been introduced by Husky for low cavity-density hot runners including the company's Pronto types. The Altanium six zone controller can be used for Husky hot runners and other makes.
Mould mounting saves floor space and reduces costs, says Husky, and eliminates the risk of thermocouple cable failure--as there are no cables.
